As naturally powerful as ta’kesh are, it was evidently decided at some point that it was not enough. The Ravager suit is a set of crude, but effective powered armor used by heavy Tribal shock troops.
Coated in thick slabs of armor, the Ravager suit mitigates most small arms fire, allowing the wearer to easily defeat enemy infantry. It is heavily armed, with a 20mm wrist-mounted heavy machine gun and a handheld 50mm autocannon. In addition, it packs a 90mm mortar for anti vehicular combat.
The Ravager is incredibly strong, allowing the wearer to lift up to six tons. It is powerful enough to tear apart armored vehicles with its bare hands, or wipe out whole squads of enemy infantry in close quarters combat.
While powerful, Ravagers are slow and ungainly, their heavy weight and inefficient construction reducing their speed to a shambling pace that can barely keep up with infantry on foot. It can be easily outmaneuvered by more agile units, and despite its heavy armor, has vulnerable points that can be exploited by skilled opponents.
Nonetheless, Ravagers are deadly combatants, and are never a welcome sight for enemies of the Tribes. They may be primitive in design, but their raw power allows them to go up against the best that more advanced races can present.
