In need of a faster and more efficient way to patrol dense urban areas, Commonwealth weapons manufacturers were issued a mandate to design a small, highly mobile aerial drone that could act both as a scout and provide support to infantry in a firefight.
Propelled by a small, top-mounted turbofan, the Yellow Jacket is highly maneuverable, and can reach speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. It is armed with a semi-automatic recoilless 3 mm gun for offensive and defensive measures. Though by itself, a single Yellow Jacket is little threat, a dozen of them supporting an infantry team can prove lethal.
A staple of any Commonwealth force, Yellow Jackets are important and flexible units that fulfill their purpose with exceptional efficiency and effectiveness.
